SilTerra and Latitude Design Systems Announce Availability of Silicon Photonics C-Band PDK in PIC Studio ™

31 March 2026 - SilTerra and Latitude Design Systems are pleased to announce that the SilTerra Photonics C-band Process Design Kit (PDK) is now officially available in the PIC Studio™ design platform. This strategic collaboration streamlines the design-to-manufacturing workflow, empowering photonics designers to bring next-generation optical communication and sensing products to market faster.

This lease provides designers using Latitude Design Systems' industry-leading Electronic/Photonic Design Automation (EDA/PDA) software with direct, seamless access to SilTera's rigorously validated C-band building blocks. The integrated PDK includes a comprehensive library of both active and passive components, fully optimized for SilTera's advanced silicon photonics manufacturing processes.

By combining SilTerra's robust foundry capabilities with the advanced simulation, layout, and verification features of PIC Studio™, mutual customers can now achieve first-time-right designs with higher confidence and shorter development cycles.
